Farscape, Lost and new friends
Have I mentioned yet how much I'm enjoying Lost? Well, I am. And surprisingly enough, not just because Dom Monaghan is in it. I just watched the fifth episode today and it creeped me out a bit. The man in the suit - Jack's dead father(!) - standing with his back to him all the time reminded me of the end of the Blair Witch Project. And the ugly, scary, Miss Edith type doll in the pool wasn't nice. Dolls frighten me. Jack does annoy me slightly, but not horribly so. And frankly, I'm just waiting for Charlie and Sayid to realise that the best thing for them both is hot man sex in the jungle. That would be nice. I think I may need a couple of Lost icons.
I've just watched both parts of Farscape: Peacekeeper Wars for the second time now as my mum wanted to watch it. I cried my eyes out both times. Jool died. D'Argo died. And then I thought John had died (again). I don't think I've cried so much at something make believe since the last Robin Hobb book ( I cried on the pages). The ending was pretty cheesy with the whole baby naming and 'you'll never walk alone' but it didn't make me want to vomit - mainly because Ben Browder (who is looking pretty nice once again) and Claudia Black (OMG girl crush) have such great chemistry. I was glad that Stark's arc had some closure. I love Stark and I'm glad he found some peace. I'm very glad that Scorpius and Braca were in it so much. <3 Braca. Overall, I enjoyed it immensely. There were flaws but at the end of the day, I'm just so happy that there was a conclusion that I don't want to nit-pick.
Except for the fact that Aeryn gave birth with her leather trousers on. WTF? I know they took a knife to them but what did she do afterwards when they went off shooting up all the Scarrens? Sew them up super quickly? On second thoughts, I don't think I want to think about it. It reminds me of when Daphne in Neighbours gave birth with her tights on the the grounds of Lassiters all those many years ago.

mctabby's Friending Frenzy. I've made a few friends there already. *waves*

sunsetmog's Billy/Dom stationery fic. Inky Fingers wherein Billy loves stationery. Lovely stuff.
