OMG. I just found myself reading really, really bad Harry/Draco fic. Surely I can't be that bored? Aaaaaargh. I read five chapters of the blasted thing. And I don't even like good H/D.

I read a good Harry/Draco once. I've read a few and most are awful, but that one was good. It was recced in crack_van - Harry was a teacher in Hogwarts and Remus and some others were Aurors and they caught Draco, who was a Death Eater, and locked him in a cage, and the scene with him and Harry was pretty great. Cage + hot young men + good writing = excellent fic, sort of thing.

But that's the only one ever, and as I say, I've read a few. It is a much-maligned ship in terms of the quality of its authors. Stick to Sirius/Remus if you want the good stuff, eh?

Ooooh, I think I read that one too. At least I remember reading a scene somewhere where Draco is a captured Death Eater in a cage and Harry is there. Could there be two fics like that? Quite possibly.

I must admit that I've read hardly any H/D as it just doesn't interest me. Well actually, I've probably read a few PWPs but nothing substantial!

But in this fic I was reading - I think it's possibly (in)famous? - Harry turns into an effeminate prostitute over the summer and then flounces around Hogwarts wearing eyeliner which Dumbledore compliments him on. o_0 And not eating very much because he's used to watching his weight after living in a whorehouse. Canon raping is too mild a phrase.

Apparently there is some good Harry/Draco out there, but theres just more badfic :(

I barely ever lay eyes on badfic as most of the reading I do is either based on recs or by someone I know. It's when I get curious or bored that I start poking around in archives and badness happens. Badness. That fic has hurt my brain.
