A quiz meme. 'Meme' is pronounced 'meem' not 'me me'. Just in case you were wondering.

C...Carbon
You scored 23 Mass, 32 Electronegativity, 49 Metal, and 0 Radioactivity!
Nobody understands you... no, not even organic chemists. The social individualist. You like your attention... but not TOO MUCH attention. You are able to form incredibly close relationships with many individuals, but you don't really get along with preexisting groups. You value equality in relationships, and don't deal well with overly submissive or demanding people. Well, whatever... thanks for making life possible... oh, and cut the global warming out.

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 15% on Mass

You scored higher than 51% on Electroneg

You scored higher than 36% on Metal

You scored higher than 1% on Radioactivity

We shouldn't be allowed to do quizzes in each others journals. It only ends in badness with me being a squib and you being a feudal peasant.

I swear, each hour has lasted at least three today. I think it's really ten o'clock in the evening now.

I have no doubt that I would have been a peasant. Probably a smelly one.

You ought to make your own quiz:
What Kind Of Harry Potter Medieval Magical Person Are You?
-You are 38% Hufflepuff Lord and 62% Slytherin Serf. You probably have bad teeth and don't wash very often.
Someone's probably already done it though...

I think I'm going to go in a minute. I'm not doing anything useful (obviously). Oooh, someone's just given me a rice crispy cake with mini-eggs on!

Useless chemistry quizzes- fab! Have you showed your dad?

N...Nitrogen
You scored 25 Mass, 41 Electronegativity, 36 Metal, and 0 Radioactivity!
Sweet! You're quirky and non-confrontational... but you are also highly dynamic in relationships. You're kinda that "anything to anyone" type, but you don't demand that people love you for it. You very much do you own thing... and probably by extention you're the only one who can do the things you do. You're rarely found alone, but you'd get along great with other people like yourself. You're probably the only element that should try to find a mate who is just like you. Oh, and too much of you in a high-pressure situation can make other people act drunk... or die.

Ahahaha!

And no I haven't showed my dad! Perhaps I should!

The high-ups probably smelt a bit too I would imagine.

Hufflepuff Lord? Isn't that an oxymoron?

It's my quiz and I'll write what I want to.

I ate a whole tube of mini eggs today too, but it is easter and I feel that it's my duty to consume my body weight in mini eggs over this period.

Weird...I always read it as "mem" with a short e.

'Meme' rhymes with 'gene'. Richard Dawkins used the word for his theory of how ideas can be transmitted from person to person like genetic material (hence the spelling of meme being reminiscent of 'gene') and only the most successful ideas survive, much like natural selection. One of the examples he uses is religion - a very successful meme - once someone has the idea they feel the need to spread it to other people (even using force). I guess someone somewhere down the line thought that it would be a neat way to describe all the quizzes etc that spread through blogging communities like wild fire.
