Cee + baking = a god almighty mess.

I've just spent the last two (2) hours making chocolate brownies. Yes, that's right, two hours (not forgetting I didn't get in from the field until 8 o'clock). How did it take me that long you ask? And my answer is I have no idea. The damn things wouldn't cook. And I think they might taste a bit funny. I think most of the cake mixture and half of the flour is down my front. And why have I just spent two (yes that's two (2) hours) hours baking? Because it's cake morning tomorrow at work and this month it's mine and the French lady's turn to supply the cakes. I thought it would be nice if I actually made something instead of buying it all. Ha! Stupid idea. Anyway - thanks to my lurker friend A for the recipe - I'm not sure they'll be as nice as when we made them!

In other non-moaning and far more exciting news - I have a ticket for Serenity² - the next Firefly convention in November!!! And niannah has kindly sorted the hotel already! Woo! Only 27 weeks to go...

Bed now. I feel slightly nauseous from the bag of Giant Buttons I had earlier and from eating cake mixture.

wow. it usually takes me 20-30 minutes to bake them. But it's chocolate so I bet it's good. :D

See, if I was any good at baking it would take me that long. They only take 25 minutes in the oven so what I was pratting about at for the rest of the time I have no idea! They're made with what seemed like half a field full of sugar so they'd better be nice!

I usually mix and do the fun stuff (using just a fork because I'm weird and I like it) for 20-30 minutes. I always forget that the stuff is in the oven. haha. burnt brownies, my especialty! :D hahaha.
