Fandom Meme and Zoolander
I've just watched Zoolander for the first time. Is there anyway I could possibly love Owen Wilson any more than I do right now? I thought not. I want to go and watch Starsky and Hutch but I really need to go to bed.
Fandom meme nicked from various folk.
1) Total number of fandoms I like:
I have no idea! Lots! I just had a look at my icons and there's stuff from about ten different things.
2) My first fandom ever:
Offline - Star Trek I guess, from about 1994 when I was completely obsessed. Online - Stargate SG-1 in 1998 (so very long ago!). It didn't take me long to discover the slash...
3) My most recent fandom:
Doctor Who. OMG is it Christmas yet?!
4) Five fandoms that currently mean a lot to me [with explanations]:
I don't know if there are five at the moment!
The two main ones:
1. Harry Potter. Because Sirius/Remus is the OTP to end all OTPs with their angsty, doomed puppy love.
2. Doctor Who. Because it's got the Doctor and Captain Jack and Rose and the Tardis and there's kissing in all combinations so there's no way I can resist. And now with added David Tennant! Woo!
And then the others:
3. Lost. I don't really read fic for Lost - I just love the discussion and the graphics and the show. And Sayid, and Sawyer and Charlie.
4. Stargate Atlantis. I haven't got round to watching any of the new season yet but I will.
5. Firefly. Because it's just fabulous. And it has Nathan Fillion in it. I want to see the proper finished movie now!! Again, not a fandom where I read the fic.
Honourable mentions:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Because I still love Andrew, Jonathan and Warren. ♥
Lotrips. It is a fandom! How can I not love Billy/Dom?
I got my new mobile yesterday to replace my knackered one and I took it to work today. Unfortunately I forgot that I hadn't finished choosing a ring tone last night and was most embarrassed today when I got a phone call and my bag sounded like a cuckoo clock...
