Internet at home is still patchy. I don't know what on earth is wrong with it. Ah well. At least work internet hasn't failed me today! Yet.

It was my mum's birthday yesterday and I got her the new Wallace and Gromitt film on DVD (which we watched last night and I loved it!). When I picked it up to wrap it up on Saturday evening I thought it felt suspiciously light. I opened it up to find that there were no discs inside!! So I had to wrap it up anyway and apologise to my mum and take it back to WH Smiths yesterday to get them to put the discs in. The stupid woman that sold it me must have forgotten to put the discs in, and this stupid woman here forgot to check inside before it was too late! D'oh.

I'm off down to see my friends next weekend. Hurrah! I think I'll be very glad for a weekend away at the moment. I'm sick of thinking about work and people leaving etc when I'm at work and sick of the crap with the fire at the field when I'm at home.

I wonder when new Doctor Who starts.

Wow, so annoying that the connection is so bad. I'd be going mental.

Your life really seems very full of annoyances at the moment. I hope the weekend is a good escape from them!

I really want to see that film. I hear it's brilliant.

My life's probably not that full of annoyances really - I think I'm just complaining more!

It was very entertaining. I was very tired when I was watching it so that probably ruined the end a bit for me as I was trying not to fall asleep. Ralph Fiennes character was hilarious.
