i've acquired a top gear icon!

I just stood up and realised that the couple of glasses of wine I've drunk have gone to my head rather! I've decided that rosé wine is the way forward as red gives me a headache after about twenty minutes.

Do you know what's annoying me slightly at the moment? The person or people in the flat next to me are clearly smokers because I can smell it in the hallway of my flat. There's not much I can do about it but it is quite horrible.

I've had the TV on in the background during my search for a Top Gear icon and there was a program on about bedbugs, maggots, headlice etc. From what I can gather, it mostly involved the presenter putting headlice on himself and sleeping in beds with bedbugs in, alongside blowing up a caravan and showing scenes of stock car racing and motorbikes. What? The preview for next week seemed to be about poo. Is this the TV equivalent of the bits of Nuts magazine that don't involve semi-naked women?

Ew, we used to get that smell in our living room. Someone else's stale smoke seeping through the walls is deeply unpleasant!

Yeah, it's not the best thing I've ever smelled. It must be coming out of their door, into the hallway and then through into my door. Lovely.

Yes, mental is certainly one way to describe it. Brain-dead is another I can think of...

Eh, really? Rosé gets to my head rather easily, but then again I've only drunk it in the summer.

There's something about red wine that does something nasty to me. It makes me sneeze and gives me a pounding headache even while I'm drinking it - which is a shame because I love it. I'm not saying rosé doesn't go to my head and make me feel tipsy, but it does make me feel less ill!
