i need some heated socks

I'm back in Nottingham and oh my god, I've been so cold today. The farrier came this morning and then I rode. My feet are all hot and sore now because they've been so painfully cold all day. Now I'm back at my parents house with some warm slippers on and watching Top Gear. Nice.

The battery is about to run out on my laptop - it lasts for about 25 minutes nowadays. Does this mean I can get a new laptop yet?
