In case you have issues reading the text, it says 'and now... deep thoughts with Mr Remus J Lupin'. I love this icon - I think it's the gormless expression on David Thewlis's face! It's from back in my Remus/Sirius days and I used to love (and still do) fics set at Hogwarts. It looks really old-skool now (it was probably made in like 1908 or something - it's nearly one of my oldest icons). Remember when all icons had to have borders (sometimes fuzzy)?
Ha! I saw this icon of Rodney (byblimey_icons) and it looked like he was doing the Saturday Night Fever dance so I had to have it. In fact, looking at it now, I've absolutely no clue what's going on in that picture - is he really dancing? I've no idea! I like to think he was having a little moment to himself in the lab one day in a bored moment. ETA: niannah just reminded me that it's from a cap of Cadman in Rodney's body! I did like that episode (and the fic that it spawned!).
Oh, I love this photograph. It was my default icon for ages. It's from a picture I found on Flickr of a load of plastic dinosaurs. It was my wallpaper for ages. I've no idea why I was on Flickr looking for dinosaurs though! It fitted really well with my Sheppard/McKay slash dinosaur layout.
Hee! This goes with my 'aliens made us do it' icon. There's nothing like a good aliens made them do it fic. Alien whales is even better (it puts me in mind of puddlejumper goings on - something I can never turn down)! Actually, I've read some really quite good AMTDI fic which transends the cliche almost. Almost. This also goes with my slash dinosaur layout. I may have to resurrect that one day.
Good old LOTRPS! I don't think I've had this icon that long but as soon as I saw it, I had to have it. Dom = ♥ If only there was a version of LotR like that I'd be all over it. In fact, I think the actors ought to do an anniversary celebration one day which includes a parody of LotR like this just for me.
I love icons. I remember when I first got an LJ back in the dark ages, when you had to have an invite code and we only had one pair of shoes between ten of us, the thing I was most excited about was being able to have icons! Hee! I've just looked in my icons folder and found all the really bad Troika ones I used to have back then. Awesome!
