Cyber moles of DOOM

So we put the electric fence up in the other field this morning. I got very cold. Also, we found that an army of giant cyber moles had created vast amounts of the largest mole hills I have ever seen - no exaggeration to say there were patches with 50 hills in. We couldn't leave them there - the grass can't grow through the compacted soil and horses are idiotic enough to find a way to injure themselves by stepping in them. So we had to move them. This mainly consisted of me wielding a spade and flinging the soil all round the field. I had only seven left to go when a sharp corner of the shovel connected with my right knee cap. I can't bend my knee now. Stupid moles.

On the good side, I emptied a trough out and when I tipped it up there were loads of creatures underneath it. Massive beetle larvae, woodlice and huge worms amongst other things. I think people started to get a little worried when I started talking about hot hermaphroditic worm sex...
