My friend and her boyfriend came to stay this weekend so I've been neglecting LJ. I think I've missed a few fics so I'll have to have a good trawl through the flist. Had a good weekend in all, although the weather has been shite. It's only just April godammit! Couldn't the April showers have waited a bit longer? That's what happens when you organise stuff to do outside. Mind you, the riding school that we went for a hack at was as shit as the weather. If it was just me and my friend H we wouldn't have had to pay to ride in the rain i.e. I would have ridden Oscar and I could have borrowed Storm for H. Unfortunately, G is not that experienced a rider so there was no one I could borrow for him. Ah well. We saw Seabiscuit last night and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
My brother is home for Easter and all of a sudden the PC is full of spyware. He swears he has nothing to do with it. Perhaps it's just a strange coincidence...
ETA: One in three Britons believes the Cold War did not happen, while more than one in 10 thinks that Adolf Hitler never existed. Okay!
