In which I talk about train stations and the weather - all thoroughly facinating stuff

The brother has gone back to college meaning that I have the PC mostly to myself again. This is good. I don't need to go crazy anymore.

This afternoon I went up to Manchester to meet my friend who's just been to New Zealand for a few months. We had a good natter and I looked at all her lovely photos and got jealous. I bought a few tops while I was there. I haven't bought any new clothes for a long while. I need some new trainers now.

The weather was so nice - my ever present umbrella wasn't needed once. When I arrived at the train station I was amazed. For the whole four year span that I was at uni there the train station was having work done on it. The roof leaked, it was cramped and there were hardly any seats or shops. Now it's all finished and it's all futuristic and cool. There's a Sainsbury's in the train station! Anyway, the station is very posh and my trains were on time. It was like catching the train in a country that actually has a functioning public transport system. I loved one of the signs in the train station. It said something like "During inclement weather, surfaces may become slippery." Inclement weather? Dude, this is Manchester. The sign should read "During clement weather, surfaces may temporarily become dry, however, don't let this go to your head, as it will surely piss it down tomorrow."

There's a very strange howling noise coming from somewhere. I'm just going to keep typing and hope it goes away. Yup, that worked. It's gone. I don't like scary noises.

OMG only about four days until Fusion!!!
