(no subject)

Had a lovely weekend seeing my friend. I rode the horse she has on loan for about 20mins. Unfortunately, due to the fact that I've not ridden for about two months and I've not done any schooling or jumping for a year or so, I'm rather stiff now.

The farrier came out to Oscar today. He reckons that it is navicular. He's not put any special shoes on him - just changed the shape of his feet. There did seem to be an immediate improvement and hopefully he'll be able to do some light work soon.

We went to see Troy yesterday before I headed home. I agree with what one reviewer said - it feels hollow. I did enjoy it but there were a few moments where I had to battle sleep. I especially liked Orlando's tie dye outfit, and there were lots of views up men's skirts which can only be a good thing!

I'm still at work for another half an hour. I can feel period pains coming on. If they can just wait until I get home I will be most grateful.

Aww, poor petal. Here is some chocolate. *hands over chocolate*

Good your horse is getting better. :)

What's a farrier? Someone who works with iron?

Eww cramps! Poor dear Cee. I'll save you!

*stuffs Midol into the A drive*

I'm a firm believer that they should give women holidays from work when periods strike, it's horid working when you want to lie down and eat ice cream. That and to save fellow work mates from my grumpy moods from being in pain all day :)
I'm so glad Oscar looks to be getting better, hope the hoof treatment worked.
Agree with the Troy thoughts I was getting very bored through most of it, only Eric Bana saved it for me. I guess I didn't like the fact that I knew the good guys would lose and I hated Achilles *die* But you got to look a mens knickers flashing so hey :)

Thanks. :)If only virtual chocolate was as nice as the real stuff!

A farrier is a blacksmith who put shoes on horses. So yes, he does work with iron.

Heh. I don't know what Midol is but hopefully it's an automatic womb extractor.

I definitely can't argue with some man knicker flashing. I think one of my listed interests is "looking up boys skirts". I feel it should be a more popular interest.

I'd vote for giving women time off work during periods. I'd also vote for abolishing Monday mornings and Friday afternoons.

Well you have my vote on that, though at least on Fridays you know you have the weekend coming up.
I actually lent over to my sister during one fight scene and told her I liked the knicker flashing, she looked at me weird *sigh*

It's a "menstrual" pill. Full of really-not-high-enough-level painkillers and caffeine. I should've sent better drugs, and a heatpad. :)
