RIP Xylophone Man

I only found out today that Xylophone Man died last week. Shopping in Nottingham will never be the same again without that little old guy and the random notes from his brightly coloured xylophone.

In other news, yesterday was my last day at work. I spoke to the agency today and they're going to start looking for something else for me. I think they want me to update my CV so I think that's tomorrows task.

I wish summer would poke its head around the corner occasionally. I've been soaked through to the skin again today down at the field.

I'm on a real Farscape kick at the moment. I've been watching some first season eps this week. It's so sad to see how innocent John is at the beginning - he doesn't carry a gun and he's so opposed to the other's use of casual violence. I can't wait for the miniseries!

Oh, I love Farscape so much. I was devastated when it was cancelled. It's got some of the most interesting and three-dimensional characters of any sci-fi/fantasy genre stuff I've watched. And it's just plain bizarre! If you ever get a chance to watch it, you should!
