Long Distance Clara
I know it's been about for ages, but today I can't seem to stop looking at this Theban Band manip of Sirius and Remus. It's just gorgeous.
Took Oscar to the vet today. He was a bugger to load in the box but we got him in eventually. The vet said he was well behaved for them all day. I was worrying that he was going to be a right git. Anyway, turns out it is navicular after all. I saw the x-rays they took of his feet - very cool. It's not bad, there's no rotation of the bone although the right navicular bone seems compressed but not too badly. If I get him shod right and dose him up on various things, he'll probably be okay to ride in a few weeks. It can never be cured though. On a good note, he doesn't have a trace of arthritis which is pretty good going for a nineteen year old horse.
