Yay! blinkytreefrog has posted Chapter 8 of Change.

Aaargh, I don't like working an eleven hour shift. It's just wrong. I only did 1.5 hours on Wednesday as the computer software we use was down so they sent some of us home. This was great as I had an unexpected holiday, but bad, as being a lowly temp there's no pay if you don't work - hence making up some of the hours today and tomorrow. I'm also doing five hours on Saturday for double pay. I think I may go into shock. A few months doing bugger all and now I have to work. Stupid need for money making me get a stupid job. After three weeks of a customer relations job, my worst fears about the stupidity of people have been confirmed. How are people so stupid? It boggles the mind.

Must go to bed and resist the urge to refresh my friends page again...
