So. That's the end of that then. Bush for another four years. I felt slightly sick after watching Bush's speech followed by Blair's. That was far too much for my poor stomach to handle in one go.
One of the BBC news commentators said something that I thought was very true: The next four years of Bush being in office will further highlight the cultural differences between Europe and the US. Amongst many things, the US is experiencing an increase in church going whereas Europe is a largely post-Christian society (with some large exceptions).

Oh my god. I'll be 28 when Bush leaves office. I'm having an existential crisis! And? That's only if he does leave. He might have instituted himself as emperor by then, or removed the two-term limit. Aaaghhh! *runs in circles*
