(no subject)

I finally managed to get mine and [livejournal.com profile] niannah's tickets for Serenity today! Hurrah! Perhaps I'll go and watch some Firefly to celebrate.

Your tickets arrived? Mine are still AWOL, dammit! I shall keep my fingers crossed for tomorrow.

I just managed to buy the damn things today. The bloke had been fobbing me off for about three weeks because of the White Room con. I think he sold them to me so I'd stop phoning up everyday and pestering him! He said to me today that the tickets would be posted at the end of the month. Whether or not that includes yours I have no idea.

Also: yay! Convention! I'll try not to throw up this time round...

Ah. Sorry, I thought you meant they'd arrived. I ordered mine back in September, and they're still not here. The payment came off my card almost a month ago, and I was told they'd arrive mid-October. I suspect I shall have to phone and nag.

I must have spoken to that bloke about 50 times over the last few weeks. By today I was ready to plead with him to let me hand over my money. So he's probably used to a bit of nagging by now...

I'm afraid I won't be helping you there. I'll be making us both buy copious amounts of alcohol. Sorry!

Also: YAY SERENITY!!

Thanks for getting the tickets, Cee. *g*

Damn it. As long as you don't mind listening to me retching in the bathroom again...

OMG YAY.

This time I plan to bring EAR PLUGS!!! I am fiendishly clever.

Maybe we can just avoid buying that one last cocktail, though... We can stop at the second-last and give philosophers something to think about.
