I've had a lovely Christmas. I got lots of jumpers and books which I am happy about as I was almost jumperless before. I wasn't bookless before but you can never have enough books. I got The Sandman: Brief Lives by the lovely Neil Gaiman and The Ancestor's Tale by Richard Dawkins amongst others. I think I'm feeling a bit better now. I've got a permanently blocked nose and I'm getting a cough, but at least I don't feel the need to sleep all the time. Whether this is because I've done hardly anything for the past week, I don't know.

blackgarden, I got your card on Christmas eve - thanks! Also, I've got this lovely santahattified icon from one_day_iris. Yay for cute puppies.

Speaking of cute puppies, I've not been about much because I've become addicted to Sims2. I blame blacksatinrose completely for this. Her posts about her Sims led me to break out my own Maurauder era game again. Sirius and Remus had their first kiss with each other today - it was very cute. In other news, Peter's mother brought a friend home from work one night and I predict that soon Peter will have two mummies - I had nothing to do with it, I swear.

I love my Remus sim. He's got a lovely green jumper and some fabulous scars. It's weird - I know book canon Remus doesn't have scars on his face but I just love the idea of him being physically scarred like in the film. It gives him more scope for angsting I suppose!

Aw that is the cutest sant hatted icon ever! The one you made me? I used when talking to <j user="adamasoda". and she nearly died of happiness XD - I've been meaning to tell you! Also, why is everyone today encouraging me to play the sims? You are all mean! ...How do you get him to be scarred? Also I am having issuesgetting my Sirius and Remus to meet up which is unfair *pokes them*

Because the Sims is great! Narcissa is currently pissed off because her party got broken up for being too loud.

For the scars I used the Sims body shop to make it so I could draw on the skins in photoshop. I think I found an online tutorial somewhere but it's not too hard.

I'm finding it difficult to get Lily and James together. *joins in the poking*

Mine haven't even met (I don't play enough obviously), so I can't even wibble about them not kissing yet. I find this extremely unfair. *also pokes your sims for fun*

My sister got Sims 2. I might have to give it a go. Everyone else is having so much fun with it.

Sims 2 is evil. It eats your time until it's three o'clock in the morning and then you get annoyed because you can't get Lily and James in the same house at the same time. Or maybe that's just me...

Yay for being alive! I was here, lurking and playing on the Sims.
