And the Book of Fanfic? ::Snerk:: I hadn't read it before. Thanks for the link.

Hope that you'll like it when you finally see it. Is it hard to not be spoiled with the delay? It shows great power of will to go right on by those spoilers!

Yeah, it is hard not to be spoiled sometimes but I'm used to it! If I wasn't downloading it then I'd have to wait until the summer to see it on the TV and then it would be even harder. I have spoiled myself with various shows in the past. Do you get shows at more or less the same time as the US?

Probably not! I worked in a reptile refuge with all kinds of critters. They just aren't that lovable. But they're all cute when they're babies!

Usually. A lot of the good series like Deadwood, and anything else on HBO, we get about six months after. It's hard to not be spoiled - and sometimes, the DVDs come out before they even show here. Hee.
Lost comes through on a Canadian station, but occasionally, they forget to switch over and we get - previews!!
Usually, I think I have the best of both worlds: we tend to get UK shows and books earlier than the US does, and we still get the US shows and books - eventually. And I like the choice of UK or US book covers too (I've always gone with the UK Terry Pratchett covers, for example).

Urgh. I saw the US covers for the Discworld books and they're horrible. I just love the Josh Kirby covers. I was really sad when he died. I wonder why they don't have the same covers.

They're so bland (and in some instances, horrifying). I read Small Gods first, with a Josh Kirby cover, and I fell in love with his art. I don't mind Paul Kidby's work, but Josh Kirby just had this sense of fun and magic that came through in his covers. If that makes sense.
I thought that the US covers were going to start being the same - but then I saw the US Going Postal artwork, and no. Just no.
