Woo eee ooooo, doo de do doooo, da da daaaa da da daaaa da da daaaaaa
I watched Doctor Who - I did enjoy it and I'm quite looking forward to next week's episode. Awww, I used to love Doctor Who as a kid. (I still think the island of Java is sinister because of it.) I didn't find Billie too annoying as Rose and that's a feat, because previously I wanted to stab her in the face whilst chanting 'because we want to' at her.I loved that they brought back the evil mannikins! Heeeee! Classic.
In other more exciting news: Remind me never to ride on the old pit tip (I'm in a mining county - they're everywhere) again. Last time I went up there I had the Oscar losing a shoe incident and today I rode up there with two friends and I had a cantering down the road after a loose horse incident. It started with us galloping down a hill completely out of control (Oscar couldn't resist following the other two who were out of control and then I couldn't stop either) and Storm's owner fell off at the bottom. Storm carried on galloping and so did Oscar. I pulled Oscar up but Storm carried on, nearly mowed a dog walker over and jumped over the stile onto the road. 'Oh bugger' thinks I and followed. I had to chase him all the way into the housing estate and cornered him on someone's driveway (which he promptly crapped all over). The old lady whose driveway it was was very surprised. Luckily there were no cars about and Storm's owner was ok apart from a bruised bum and a bit of a headache. Stupid animals. Quite exciting though! Although maybe a bit too exciting...
Now to bed as tonight's the night that an hour of sleep is cruelly stolen from me. Stupid British summer time.
Edited because I clearly can't type or spell. D'oh.

when horses crap on people's driveways, you should just mention that it makes wonderful fertilzer and how lucky they are to have it already right there ;)

As the horses were stamping around on this poor lady's drive I just said 'I'm sorry, he's pooed' and she said it didn't matter. Really I'm thinking she did mind but didn't want to say anything in case I let one of the sweaty muddy rabid beasts trample her down and eat her. I guess I'll never know! Well, she'll have nice roses now anyway!
