David Tennant and Toilets
David Tennant is definitely going to be the new Doctor in Doctor Who. Yay! Look,
sunsetmog has clips of him in Blackpool up in her journal. I wish I'd watched that now.
The toilet has broken again. I went into the kitchen at about nine o'clock and noticed that the wallpaper had gone wavy. Cue frantic rushing upstairs to find that the cistern is leaking again. Luckily we had some sealant from the last time it happened and me and mum managed to seal it up again (after sticking rubber gloves together repeatedly and getting paper clips stuck down the nozzle whilst trying to unblock it). Trip to the shop for some more sealant tomorrow I think. I think we probably need a new loo actually. Meanwhile, we get to flush it with buckets of water for tonight. Gah.
I rode Oscar today but he was a bit dodgy and was quite lame when I got back. Poor thing. I'd probably be more sympathetic to him though if he hadn't been a total dick while I was trying to see if he was lame. There was at least one incident of him running around the paddock by himself with his bridle while I chased after. I hate leading him from the ground and he hates me.

I still haven't watched Casanova. Must do that tomorrow.
Best of luck with the toilet and the bucket.

We fixed the toilet 'properly' on Sunday morning. I love living in a house that has had barely no maintenance done on it since it was built in the sixties. Fixing crap that breaks is so much fun. *thinks back to the light switch setting on fire incident before Christmas* Gah.

We have one bathroom (with the bath and sink) and a separate toilet so it's not too bad only having the one toilet. Except for when it breaks of course. Next time it breaks I'm totally taking you up on your offer though!

It's a bit like collectormania in that there are guests from many fandoms, except you pay to get in (only £6), it's not held in a shopping centre and it's not in Milton Keynes. This one has a large Enterprise guest list. It is run by Wolf - the people who do the SG cons. Other than that, I've not been, but I've heard the two are quite similar.
Whee. It'll be my second con, and I've volunteered to steward because all my friends are, and so I'd have no one to hang around with. Lol.
