John Barrowman is a gnome

I've just been to see Batman Begins. Awesome. I want to eat Christian Bale. I will now try and sleep in my sweltering room. It's so damn hot.

...

Before I forget: John Barrowman who plays Captain Jack? When I first saw him in Doctor Who I recognised him and as soon as I saw his name I remembered that he used to be a children's TV presenter of some kind. I finally remembered to look on IMDB today and now I know - he used to present Live and Kicking in 1993 with Andi Peters! And Edd the Duck!

....

Oh dear god! I've just spent the last half an hour laughing my head off looking at stuff from children's BBC when I used to watch it. I watched Philip Schofield's last day in the Broom Cupboard in which John Craven asks Gordon the Gopher if he's going to be the next Doctor Who. But the crowning glory and the most embarrassing was John Barrowman being a gnome (go here and click on the 5th video link - the one below where it says John Barrowman because the numbering is messed up).

Now I really am going to bed because my room is full of moths.

Unsurprisingly enough, they were exactly the sounds that I made too! Too funny.

Christian Bale *is* Batman. A ninja Batman.

Does it get cooler than that?

A ninja Batman trained by Liam Neeson with extendable wings that allow him to fly?

I really want to see Batman Begins but I'm actually just getting round to seeing Star Wars tomorrow so it probably won't be for a while.

Also, I feel sorry for all those Broom Cupboard and other children's tv presenters that faded into obscurity. Clearly not Captain Jack! I saw caps of the kiss, btw. V nice. *g*

I've actually seen Star Wars before someone else! I thought I was the last person in the entirety of the fannish community to have seen it!

Philip Schofield pops up now and then and Andi Peters is a producer but I think the rest of them got locked in the broom cupboard forever!

Very nice indeed! I saw the documentary afterwards where he was saying that he made sure he kissed both Rose and the Doctor in exactly the same way. It was very cute!
