Apologies and disjointed moaning

I do apologise if I've just replied very late to a comment that you left on my journal 3457823465028 days ago. I'm so bad at replying at the moment! I suck. And so does this constant rain. But I suppose the grass is coming through now so I won't have to keep putting hay out for the horses for much longer. I've just had to fork out £200 today for a hundred bales of hay for the winter. Joy. I hate the fact that it's not even August yet and already I'm thinking about the winter (which for me means October to about April when the horses are stabled overnight). Sweet Jesus. Anyone want two, old crippled horses?

ETA: OMG, this Sirius/Remus recs list is totally kicking my ass in a funnel cake style. I keep wanting to reread all the fic as I'm compiling it which is probably why it's taken me about three months to do about half of it! And it's not even very long!

It's so very true. Or at least until the end of August anyway...

The list is currently on my hard drive. I really want to get it done soon though!

I'm too scared to jump right in and look myself. I did that the other day with H/D and within minutes stumbled upon an atrocity in which Harry called Draco "Drake".

Aaaaargh. I'm too scared as well. There's no way that I can trawl through any of the open HP comms or fic archives because they are just too terrible. I have to rely on my flist bringing me shiny things or at least pointing them out.

I crazily just misread "(which for me means October to about April when the horses are stabled overnight)." as "when the horses are STABBED overnight", and I thought ... weird ... she doesn't seem very bothered...

All the cool kids have Jayne icons. Of course, if by "all the cool kids", I mean me, then "all the cool kids" are also having garlic bread dropped into their laps by clumsy waiters, so maybe its best to NOT be one of the cool kids.
