I've just bought myself a new desk lamp because my old one finally gave up the ghost. I got it from Argos - it looked okay in the catalogue but I've got it home and it's HUGE and BRIGHT. It's like an interrogation light. I feel like I should be tied to the chair with my feet in a bucket and electrodes on my nipples. Wow.

In other less bright news (my god, I think I need sunglasses to sit at my desk) the new website for Serenity looks very shiny.

Heh. It's true though!! I'm going to take it back tomorrow I think and buy a nice poxy small one. if I can find the receipt...

Hope you found the receipt to take back your interrogation style lamp!!!
Had my own little trip to argos today and so I am posting this comment....(wait for it) from my room!!!! V exciting.
Anyway- off to see how the installation on michaels computer is going.

I did indeed find the receipt! And I have a smaller and nicer lamp from John Lewis now. It's blue and not gigantic which is all I ask for really.

Yay for the wireless! I'm just trying to set up my bluetooth thingy - thank you! It was £15 so I'll send you a cheque for £40.

For a little update- michaels computer is working too now- we just need to update the speed of our broadband connection to 2 megabytes/ gigabytes- or whatever it is- I don't understand all these technical things.
Yay for the bluetooth- I hope that the installation is going well. Then you can admire all those comedy videos of Heather the Vampire!
