I've spent the afternoon making an Ikea desk. It's very big - my giant interrogation lamp of doom would feel at home on it. It's got a large shelf life construction thingy on the top of it which now holds lots of books, magazines and DVDs. I've almost got enough shelf space again. Now I need a larger desk chair to go with it as this one doesn't quite go high enough. I think my mission in life is to fill my room with giant furniture. It's now very dark over by my bed as this monstrosity is blocking out the light from the window. Ah well, who needs sunlight eh?
I've started re-watching Firefly in order before I go to see Serenity in just over a week (!). We got through the first disk today. So much love. I've just realised that I don't have a Mal icon which is a travesty. Then again, I don't have a million pounds and that's also a travesty. But I suppose a Mal icon is more achievable - especially seeing as I've still only filled 82 out of my 100 icon slots.

Ha! My desk is huge! My room isn't however and I seem to have many pieces of furniture including two large bookcases. I'm going to have to start sleeping in the garden soon.
