Yay Serenity! My brother actually enjoyed it which was something unexpected. Especially because he only ever watched one episode of Firefly (Trash) which he declared to be crap.

A few very short thoughts: Wash. I can barely watch that bit now I know it's coming. Poor, poor Wash. I still teared up at the funeral and at his dinosaurs on the console at the end. At least I know that not EVERYONE is going to die when I watch it now like I did the first time I saw it. Wow, I can finally say this in my journal after nearly 8 months.

Aaaargh, Elmo has just clambered into my bed. I'd better turf him out.

Ooooh: you can list the Unseen University as a school now too! I wonder what else I can find...

seeing all his dinosaurs on the console at the end actually made me cry more than the funeral thing. It took me several days before I came to terms with Wash being gone. I don't think I can forgive Joss for that. Good thing the movie was fantastic

You never watched Buffy or Angel did you? Joss has killed so many characters I liked over the years that you'd think I should be immune to it by now. But I'm not. Bastard.

no I pretty much managed to stay away from everything else Jossverse. That I know of. And he was always resurrecting Buffy. It's just mean and cruel to do such things to your fans. Bastard

Heh. And I love him for it! ♥ Buffy and Angel were flawed in parts but they were damn good shows.

I'm not exactly sure where a franchise would go without Wash. He was kind of the heart, if that's not overstating the case... It makes me sad that he's dead, and I'm seriously impressed that you never let it slip. :)

I know. If there is going to be anything else after this film then it will definitely have a big Wash shaped hole. Wash was one of my favourites. But it is Joss, and Joss is mean.

I can't believe that Alan Tudyk was at the convention and I never heard a mention or even a hint at all.

I know, I didn't even suspect! I mean, I'm not very good at picking up things like that, usually, but still, it's a pretty big one.

I didn't notice the word, but then again I am a bit sleepy today. I think I slept a million hours last night and have still not woken up.
