Just been to the dentists. No problems, remarkable dental hygiene, blah, blah, blah. Go to pay my thirty-five pounds. Put my card into the chip and PIN machine and the receptionist SNAPS MY CARD. Whoops. And no, I've never seen that happen before either. I did laugh rather a lot - what else can you do! And then she says to me - you'll not be spending much money tonight will you. You're quite right - NO I WON'T. D'oh. And I've just had the pleasure of being cut off twice while phoning the bank to get a new card.

In other news, casirafics just posted this fabulous Neil Gaiman quote from Locus on the topic of potential Good Omens sequels:

A ha ha, people who are bored with Hogwarts! I've never read C/A fic and I have to admit I wouldn't dare unless I knew it was going to be perfectly written. Have you?

I have read a few in the past and some of them were quite good. Of course this was before my obsessive bookmarking of fic that I've enjoyed so I've no idea what it was!

It was getting annoying when there were loads of comments because I made the layout too narrow (annoyingly so in fact - I remembered the reason I don't like my layout to be fixed width). I'll probably change it back again at some point.

I bought them! 2 tickets. I only paid £175 so I assume we're in the first 300. It says ticket numbers will be allocated as soon as payment is recieved so hopefully they'll take payment soon and we will definitely be in there. Excitement!
