Aaaaargh! Where the hell did April go?! Ah well. At least it meant a bank holiday! The horses are out now (and poor old Kaz is muzzled again because the grass is coming through) and so I had a lie in yesterday and today! Hurrah for the summer (almost summer). Now it just means months of hard-core shit shovelling in the field... Joy.

I really loved this weeks Doctor Who (quelle suprise!). ASH was fabulous and he had great chemistry with the Doctor. He seemed nice and at home in the school environment!

I've not seen many Tom Baker episodes but enough to appreciate Sarah Jane's appearance. It was really well done and I loved the whole discussion about the Doctor leaving his companions behind. It was nice that he was made to say goodbye to Sarah Jane properly. K9 was rubbish then and is rubbish now, but that was acknowledged in both Rose and Mickey's reactions which made it funny and almost tolerable.

I loved Mickey in that episode - he had a lot of the good lines, 'I'm the tin dog!' being one of them. Hee!

And David Tennant? He's definitely the Doctor now. I loved Christopher Ecclestone as the Doctor, but I think I love David Tennant even more. He really fits the role. And he's prettier. ;)

You're the first to say K9 is rubbish. I thought it was quite adorable. :)

Oh, Tennant. He promised he wouldn't leave Rose, he did! This is going to be so much better than Nine. I feel it already. These episodes are faster and funnier and more squee worthy than half the previous season. I love it.

K9 is adorable! He's just a bit rubbish! All anyone has to do to run away from him is go up stairs - much like the old school daleks in fact. Heh.

He promised he wouldn't leave Rose, he did!

I know!

thank goodness we don't have to pick the horses' field. That would suck beyond telling.

I only just barely met Sarah Jane in the old school who, I think. And it still really worked for me (I was very concerned it wouldn't). I just loved the way he reacted to her, and then that moment where she backs out of the room where the TARDIS is and he's there. Lovely. And then I watched the Confidential and saw what 4 did when he dropped her off like that, and I was really glad he was forced to say a real goodbye this time.

What you said aobut DT being the Doctor. Yeah. All of it.

It wouldn't be to bad if we weren't on a giant hill! Pushing barrows of poo up the hill to the muck heap isn't much fun.

It really worked for me too. The reactions were fantastic - especially when she realises that he's the Doctor. The Confidential was the first time I saw how Four left her as well. Poor thing! I did laugh though because I used to live in Aberdeen and wow. It's a long way from everywhere!

I need more Doctor Who icons!

Yeah Tennant is good. As are summer and lie-ins.

Lie-ins are great. I wish I was still in bed right now rather than being at my desk!
