a) Today has been like summer and it's still warm now.

b) I forgot to download Lost this morning. Poo.

c) People mostly agree with me that cutting your nails on public transport is kinda gross.

d) I want more Doctor Who icons.

And last, but not least, e) I got a massive pay rise today, effective from the 1st of May! \o/ On Friday I told my boss that I was going to leave if I didn't get a pay increase to match my salary to that of the other person who's doing the same job as me. And it worked! I'm in shock. But very happy!

Oh wow, go you! Nice work in demanding the raise. I wish I had had that kind of gumption when I was in my review. Congratulations!

It wasn't like summer here today. Okay, well, it was, but only in the sense that it rained pretty much all day and was incredibly dark and grey, but also it was warm and humid. We don't have changeable weather, we have it all at once.

Thanks. :) I didn't need much gumption really. My boss pretty much already knew the deal and agreed with me that I'd be daft to stay while I was being paid so much less than someone else doing the same job so she was really good at arguing my case for me with the scary PTBs.

It was dark and grey this morning but the sun kind of burned it off by middayish. It was humid though and it was awful in the office.
