ROTK on Wednesday. Oh. My. God. I have to go and see it again. Now. I don't really have anything constructive to say about it. It was too overwhelming. Maybe when I watch it on the TV I can be a bit more objective about it, but at the moment I'm just too awed. I spent half the film in a nervous sweat. It was so emotional. Here's some random thoughts:
Pippin always was my favourite character and I so loved him in this. The part where he sings as Faramir rides to battle was so moving. And Gandalf was cool! Shelob was awsome. I loved the opening scenes with Smeagol and Deagol. It was disturbing. And I'm glad that Gollum was pretty nasty and creepy in the whole film.
