riding through the glen...

The website that's been keeping me entertained this week is local.live.com. It's like Google Earth but you don't have to download anything and the birdseye views are amazing (if they're available). You can see washing in our back garden and I can see the horses in the field! Really fabulous even if it is a little Big Brother like.

I did watch Robin Hood at the weekend. It was probably compulsory seeing as I live in Nottingham. I actually quite enjoyed it even if I did sit there going 'why is the castle not on Castle Rock and why does it all look suspiciously like Hungary?' And I'm pretty damn sure that women didn't wear make-up like that back then! But yes, entertaining and I think I'll be watching it next week.

YOU LIVE IN NOTTINGHAM!?!?! AHHHHH. That's so cool.

I just watched it. I liked it.

I do indeed! It's not very exciting really. There's pretty much no Sherwood Forest any more and the castle has been burned down and rebuilt so many times that it's not actually a proper castle now. But we do have a Robin Hood statue and the ancient oak tree that he lived in. ;)

It was quite fun wasn't it!

It's funny because I was watching the episode and thinking "Now, that's a really cool forest". DAMN.

It was a good episode, enough to watch the second. I didn't like Marianne very much, though.
