I got my new glasses today! Very exciting!! I don't think that people who don't wear glasses understand how fab it is to get a new pair. I love them and I can see. There is no bad.

I still haven't watched last week's Supernatural. I was going to watch it now but I think I'd fall asleep within approximately thirty seconds of putting it on so there's no point.

Tomorrow we've got an announcement at work. I'm 99.9% sure it's going to be about when the office is moving and where to. We all know that it's coming but I'm very apprehensive about it nontheless. Hmmm. I'm pretty sure they're going to tell us that our jobs are moving up to Hull. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

ETA: And yay for Torchwood starting on Sunday! Very exciting!

It's about an hour and a half north of Nottingham. I'll have to decide what I want to do. I'll have to leave Nottm anyway as there are no other companies here that have the job that I do. Hmmm.

Don't tempt me to watch it now! I have to go to bed!

Glasses are also exciting when

1) You have contacts but they make your eyes cry mucus-y tears when you wear them too much
2) You haven't had a new pair in a couple years
3) They are the first pair you've genuinely liked in your whole history of wearing glasses (11 years)
4) You get them five days earlier than you expected
5) They are purple

1) I also get mucus-y tears from contact lenses and it's disgusting.
2) I too haven't had any new specs since 2004.
3) These are the favourites out of any glasses I've ever had.

They can't make me move to Hull. However, if I don't move to Hull I have to look for a new job. It sucks. Everybody had a good laugh when the guy who was giving us the powerpoint presentation about the office moves started doing a little propaganda advert about Hull, saying not to believe what you read in the tabloid press. Although I do know some people that live there who say it's actually ok.

I can't wait to see next week if Hull is still the worst place to live, and Nottingham the second, when they do the 2006 version of that worst places to live in the UK TV show.
