what is it about raccoons?
I had a really good weekend! Two of my friends came down to Nottingham on Friday (after some slight confusion because I thought they were coming on Saturday). We dossed around the house on Friday night and got up late on Saturday morning. We got back into bed at about half past twelve in the afternoon and watched the entirety of series two of Spaced (which I bought last week, along with the first series to replace my video copy and the whole series of Odyssey 5. Yay.). I'd forgotten quite how fabulous Spaced is! We then got dressed, went into town for food, went to Revolution for vodka cocktails and then went to Rock City to see We Are Scientists play. They were great (and their website is fabulously bizarre)! After that we met up with the boyfriend (who wasn't allowed into Rock City because he was dressed too smartly!) and went to a bar for some more drinks. I don't think I've quite recovered yet...
OMG. So behind with my f-list. I don't know how I used to keep ... oh wait, yes I do, it was in the days before work BANNED anything interesting on the internet. How am I hurting the company by spending fifteen minutes at lunch checking my email and LJ?! Rubbish.
I went to Hull yesterday with the regulatory affairs team. We had a tour of the space which will be the offices and a tour of Hull and the surrounding areas - lots of lovely little villages that I could never afford to live in! But Hull doesn't look too bad overall and it has a Primark and a Revolution vodka bar so it can't all be bad.

I am very glad to see you have your priorities in order. Clothes and booze!
I've never become enamoured of Spaced but we have the 2 DVD box sets in the flat so maybe I'll give it another go.

Clothes and booze! What else does a girl need!
I loved Spaced - it really appeals to my sense of humour and it's very geeky. One of my friends at university was obsessed with it.
