I miss Martha, but I really do like Donna. I think she'll give the Doctor the kick up the arse he needs (and her grandad was great). And Rose! How is she there? Is she looking for the Doctor?

personally I thought the story was a bit weak, but then cute little humanfat!munchkins vs. the beast that is Torchwood was never really going to turn out well, was it?!

I guess objectively, the story is often very daft in Doctor Who but I can hand-wave that away quite easily!

Yeah, little cute fat!munchkins has a slightly different tone than DEATH AND DOOM. But that's all good. I definitely needed a bit of fluff after Torchwood had finished with me.

I think Donna will be great. Catherine Tate is playing her spot on, making her funny and poignant in just the right balance. I wasn't sure it would work but this episode alone convinced me.

And yes, Rose! Good golly! Where's that going? Interesting!

I still wasn't sure it was going to work but they play off each other so well that it convinced me. I loved the relationship we saw with Donna and her granddad.

I missed Martha so was glad that she got a mention from the Doctor. I didn't expect to see Rose at all! I'm hoping for an episode involving Donna, Rose, Martha and Jack all in the Tardis! And Mickey if he'll fit!
