Loved today's Doctor Who. I thought this episode was far more creepy than last weeks - the bits with Donna jumping between the cuts of a film and realising that her children weren't real - and the children realising that they weren't real - was very strange.
It took me ages to work out that Doctor Moon was actually the moon! At least I'd figured out that the kid was the computer.
River Song - yeah, I had a tear or two. And she knows the Doctor's name? She must be more than a future companion. Must be. I doubt we'll ever see her again but it was a very cool concept - and the Doctor got torn up again.
At the end when Donna's husband couldn't say her name in time before she left - aaargh. Very sad. I hope that Moffat can bring at least some of this to the next few series.
I don't normally post lolcats but this one literally made me LOL.

And yes, this one was v creepy! I'm assuming that River becomes his wife. When he says there's only one reason he'd tell her his name... It was so sad when she died! But I find it somehow more sad that now she's stuck in a computer forever in a fake world just because he couldn't let her go. Hmmm.
So sad that Donna's lovely fella couldn't call out her name! He's right there, Donna! If only everyone wasn't wearing black.

That's my assumption as well. I doubt we'll ever find out if that's a correct assumption but it's nice to speculate!
I like to think that at least she's stuck with some real people in the fake world (and look after the little girl) and she's an archaeologist so for a while, she can enjoy going back to some previous civilisations even if it is only through what's in the books. Perhaps the Doctor plans to find a way to get her out again someday? I have to make it more happy in my head!
