Before I was born, my dad had dogs called Merry and Pippin and they got in all kinds of trouble together. Um, I've never asked what happened to them, but I think they both died together as well.
Before I was born, my mum and dad had hamsters called Bilbo and Frodo. Apparently Frodo escaped in the flat they lived in and went on an 'adventure' into the central heating pipes - never to return. Perhaps I need to have a Sam and a Merry to complete the hobbit set.
