I have to get out of a date on Friday night I unwittingly found myself with. It's with this bloke at work. He's a lovely guy - an ex-goth with a big leather coat and he can out geek me. However, I really don't fancy him at all. This stupid girl who sits at the next desk to me decided that she's actually Cilla Black and is obsessed with matchmaking. To cut a long story short, she rail-roaded us into going out after work on Fri. The worst thing is, I think the guy really likes me and me being a complete wuss can't say anything. And now one of my friends is coming down to see me on Friday night for the weekend so I can't go with him anyway. Aaaaargh! I hate these kinds of situations. Why do these things never happen with people I really like? At least he's not a weird stalker like the last guy that liked me...
