I'm going over to Aberystwyth from tomorrow until Monday to see my final year housemates from uni. The girl that's doing her masters there has just come back from six months in Perth so it will be lovely to see her.
I hope the trains are better than last time I went to Aberystwyth. It ended up taking about three hours longer than it should have done to get home due various things such as to vandals putting stuff on the line and having to get a bus between somewhere and somewhere else random because of track repairs. And the electricity went in the carriage I was in on the train from Birmingham to Nottingham so I couldn't even read because there was no lights. Stupid trains. This country must have the worst railway system in the world. At least it gives you something to talk about with random people on the trains. The only time I ever speak to other people on public transport is when there are delays and everyone starts telling their train horror stories to each other.
