My unemployment period has lasted a woefully short time. I am back to work on Monday, at the same place as before but in a different department and building. I'm going to be a Regulatory Affairs Administrator for a bit until they find someone through interview to fill the role. If anyone knows what a regulatory affairs administrator does, then answers on a postcard please! It's something to do with legal stuff about exporting pharmaceuticals abroad. I think. I suppose I'll find out on Monday... Plus it's slightly better paid than my last assignment. My temp agency is amazing at finding me jobs really quickly, and not shitty jobs either. I was looking forward to a few weeks off but unfortunately you don't get paid for dossing about on LJ. Bugger.

Your agency sounds great. It's a shame we can't get paid for dossing about on LJ, though. :(

I'll be able to meet up with people for lunch and stuff which will be nice, but I'm in a different building on the other side of the site so I won't be seeing them on a day to day basis.

Sometime soon they're going to realise that I don't do much.
Congrats on the new position by the way, even though the name does sound a little bollocksy. I'm sure the position will be outlined on Monday for you!

I was having a discussion with a friend I went to college with who's temping at the same place but in a different department. Neither of us could work out how we managed to do more than most other people, do our jobs well, and still spend about 40% of our time doing stuff entirely unrelated to work... what the hell does everyone else do?

Brain is not really working today.
