Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] elvinborn!!!

Have a good one!

A handy tip for you all: when pulling ragwort up out of a large patch of grass, nettles and thistles, be careful - it hurts like a bitch when you accidentally grab a nettle with your right hand and simultaniously get thistle spiked on the bum.

Sweet, sweet antihistamine cream...

Damn you nettles. DAMN YOU!

I never do gardening either. This is unavoidable having a horse stuff. Ragwort is a poisonous weed that you have to remove from the field - so I seem to have spent a lot of my spare time recently pushing wheelbarrows of dead weeds up hills (not to mention the usual barrows of shit).

I've put my vote in for flattening the hill with some kind of nuclear charge and then concreting over the grass. My final master-stroke would be to insert corks in the horses bottoms thus reducing the work load considerably. Unfortunately, few people have seen the genius of my plan. *sigh*

Wow--horse ownership actually sounds even more scary than gardening. On the other hand, it does have the nice bonus part where you have a horse. :D

Corks are a good plan...have diapers been considered?
