Somebody at work has just been to the US and brought back some sweets and chocolate. Today I ate a small fragment of a milk chocolate Hershey's bar. I do believe that it was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted IN MY LIFE. I was warned that it was disgusting but I thought I'd try it for myself. I smelled it and it smelled like chocolate, I put it in my mouth and chewed it and it tasted like chocolate and then a few seconds later it started to taste like vomit. Like chocolate and sick. Mixed together. In my mouth. It's like the oompaloopa's had been on a binge the night before, come into work the next morning and vomited into the chocolate vats. Jesus. And it wasn't just me that thought it tasted like sick either. Vile. I had to rinse my mouth out. I'm never going to live anywhere that doesn't have Cadbury's. Gah.

On a more happy note, the [livejournal.com profile] shoebox_project was updated despite my scepticism yesterday. Yay! Sirius and McGonagall - classic. James and his moulded rubber fetish - also classic. Gorgeous art as usual. And the end - a kiss! Guh. It's so beautifully characterised and believable. Whenever I read HP now, this will be Sirius, Remus, Peter and James for me. And that's actually heartbreaking in the light of what happens to them all. What I thought was really telling was that I read through all the billion comments on that installment and there were quite a few from non-slashers and even non-fic readers that love it.

I agree. On all counts. Especially the toast.

Oh, the toast!

I want more!

I'm like a bad kid. I just want to stamp my feet until more comes.

And the KISS... I think I'm going to have to go and re-read it...

(How can it be so good?)

You're making me want to re-read it now and possibly print it off so I can read it in bed.

How can it be so good?

I don't know - perhaps they've laced it with illegal substances... It's definitely addictive. Is it Thursday yet?

Dammit, it's not Thursday yet.

So perfect. I really am going to reread that ending.

I love it. The characters are amazing.
