My curry eye was still swelled up this morning. That'll teach me.

Funny story: I went to the 'doctors' at midday today and guess who I bumped into in town? Iain Banks! And I just happened to have a copy of The Algebraist in my bag for him to sign. Funny eh? As I expected, the queue (which was small and he started signing before he was supposed to) was full of men with pony tails, beards and motorbike leathers and about two other women.

You guys are naughty enablers and made me skive off work today. I hope you're proud of yourselves. Especially sunsetmog who voted for me to take the whole day off!
