This afternoon I went out for a Sunday lunch buffet with my friend who'd come home for the weekend. She's currently living in London so I don't see too much of her. I had roast beef, roast chicken, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, veg and gravy and two different puddings because I'm greedy - cheese cake and carrot cake. Yum. The Yorkshire puddings weren't as good as the ones my friend made last weekend though. He is a Yorkshire pudding making king.

Yesterday my mum and I found a really cool little shop called Roots. It sells all kinds of carved wooden stuff and just lovely little knicknacks. I got a large metal dragon that's also a candle holder - I couldn't find it on the website. I've no idea where on earth I'm going to put it as it's rather large - at the minute it's sitting on my dressing table. I suppose it fits in with all the giant furniture...

My CD burner is playing silly buggers today. I'm not sure if it's the discs, the files or the hardware that's the problem but I'm hoping it's not the latter. I have to clear some space on my HD so I'm trying to get rid of some Lost, Atlantis, Arrested Development and Doctor Who onto disc. It's just the first two episodes of Atlantis season two that don't want to play nice now. I've already ruined six blank CDs so I'm going to be a little annoyed if this doesn't work now.

Blah. Monday tomorrow already.

It's a batter mix (eggs, flour, milk) that rises and you have with roast beef for your Sunday dinner. You have to have lots of gravy on it and it's lovely!

Ha! I know. But it was a buffet and I figured I'd paid for it so why not! I might as well get all my eating in now before I get fat and old. Hmmm... there seems to be a slight flaw in my logic there...
