weather report - it didn't rain yesterday!
Oh god. Back to work tomorrow for the first time in a week. At least I don't feel like death warmed up any more, though I still don't really feel 100%.
We managed to get some of the ragwort in the field sprayed yesterday. The stuff we've been using is very satisfying as today you can go round the field we did and see that everything we sprayed is brown and crispy and dead. Now we just need to keep the horses off there for about four weeks while all the dead stuff disappears (it's more palatable when dead).
I'm looking after five of my friend's guinea pigs while she's away on holiday this week (and her horse). All I can say is, she'd better be coming to get them as soon as she gets back on Sunday! They're very cute and adorable, but looking after five of them is a bit too much. I quite like having one of the male ones but five of the females - that's a lot of guinea pig poo! At least we haven't had to mow the back garden since we've had them.
I'm trying to resist using a Mighty Boosh icon but I don't think it's working. *breaks out another Vince icon - he's Mowgli in flares!* I want to write a whole post about how fabulous and weird and slashy they are but I'm restraining myself. For the moment...
(The spell check on Semagic doesn't recognise the word slashy! Imagine that!)
ETA: Wow, I just looked at my LJ calendar and I've been even worse than usual than updating this month. Probably a good thing as all you'd've had last week was semi-delusional ramblings!

There's a great post here pimping it. It depends on your sense of humour whether you'll like it or not - it's very strange. And very, very silly. And very hard to describe. Most of the episodes are up on youtube if you want a taster. Here's my favourite episode from series one. There's not much continuity - the only things you need to know are that Vince and Howard work in a zoo (in the first series anyway) run by a scary American man called Bob Fossil. Vince idolises Mick Jagger and Gary Newman, wears outlandish outfits, can talk to animals and has a penchant for eyeliner. Howard likes to think of himself as a 'jazz maverick' and a 'man of action' but really, he's just very dull. He also has a moustache.
The guinea pigs are in a run and they don't dig so they're pretty safe. It's a good job really because I don't think they'd last five minutes loose with my three cats!
I've been writing this comment since I got home from work because I keep getting interrupted! Finally done!
