i smell like barbeque smoke

I saw PotC 2 last night - I don't have any deep and meaningful thoughts about it but I did enjoy it. It might have been a tad too long but it was entertaining and there was a lot of pretty. And that's my review. ;)

I've only just got back from the field as tonight we finished off most of the ragwort pulling and then had a barbeque. We've been meaning to have a barbeque up there since we moved on three years ago and we've only just got round to it! Better late than never I guess.

I really, really have to start packing for the holiday after my driving lesson tomorrow. I think I've got everything I need now except insect repellent but I can nip into Boots on the way home tomorrow and I'll be sorted. I managed to sort out a 3 hour morning of horse riding where we'll be able to see a volcano and some rivers. I can't wait to go! I hate all the preparation for holidays but it's worth it when you get there.

And now I'm wondering whether it's barbeque or barbecue. Maybe I should just stick to BBQ.

I would say barbecue. You totally confused me by having an entry the exact length and paragraphing as the next person on my flist and when I refreshed I wondered why on earth she was wondering about the spelling of barbecue.

But! Your holiday is sounding cooler and cooler. Remind me to go to Iceland some day!

dI just don't know! From the investigations that I've just done, I've concluded that they're just alternative spellings with barbecue being the most popular.

It did it on purpose just to confuse you because I'm mean like that.

It really is sounding cooler and cooler because everytime I look at the weather forecast it's getting colder! I still don't feel as if I'm actually going to be going - it'll probably only feel real when I'm on the aeroplane!
