My mum put me on my dad's car insurance yesterday so hopefully this weekend I'll be able to get some extra driving practice in! I've got a lesson at seven - a bit late really but I've got to take what I can get since I lost my regular slot when I went on holiday. I actually booked my theory test a few days ago. It's not until the middle of September, but I figure that should be ample time to procrastinate and do no preparation and then think 'shit. I should actually do something here'.

I watched Sateda a couple of days ago. I loved it. Anything with awesome Ronon backstory has to be good. I loved Sheppard's leather jacket (oh I've been waiting for that since the promo pictures) and his awkward conversation with Teyla - although I refuse to believe that he's as socially retarded as we're supposed to think. Ronon was great - Momoa got some great material there and he played it well. Rodney was probably a little short changed, but what's new? On the whole, that episode was about 2304820389 times better than last weeks...

I will put some holiday photos up this week. Honest.

So very true.

Poor Rodney, being comic relief. I did like his concern when they weren't moving with 25 Wraith after them - I was a bit concerned myself. I think he could have been better, but could have been worse.

But Ronon! Ronon is so cool. Not sure what I think of his wife, but that's probably jealousy talking. ;) All the flashbacks were amazing. Finally some Ronon backstory!

Sheppard and Teyla were so sweet. It was nice to get an insight into Shep in that scene, no matter how you choose to read it. I agree with you - Sheppard is too charming to lack social skills. He just lacks the skills to talk about how he really feels, which we sort of knew since he really rarely does.

I do wish he'd make up his mind about who is his boyfriend, though. All this homoeroticism with Ronon one week and Rodney the next is no good for the chain of command.

Rodney has had far worse episodes than that one. And far better ones!

I thought the flashbacks were done really well. And I had no problem with his wife (were they married - did it tell us that?).

I did love the Sheppard and Teyla scene. I like that they're trying to bring a bit more of a team dynamic into it this season - showing that they're all important to each other even though they might not say it (out of the privacy of the bedroom anyway! ;))

I do wish he'd make up his mind about who is his boyfriend, though.

Heh. Keeps it interesting for us though! Sheppard may look at Ronon occasionally, but I know that Rodney and his comic relief underpants are the only ones for him. ;)
