BOYFRIENDS

OMG. Boyfriends boyfriends boyfriends. That episode was love. That phone conversation had me squeeing, as did the Ronon and Teyla live together on a planet thing and Ronon lifting Sheppard up in a bear hug. I liked Weir, I liked Carson. The only bad is that I'm pretty damn sure that those Ancients aren't what they appear to be and if it's a stupid Replicator plot twist I'll be annoyed. But that's made up for by John and Rodney missing each other and talking every day on the phone and going out for romantic dinners and John looking stupidly hot in that black shirt.

Now we just have to wait for it to come back on in Canada!

Even Landry thinks they have chemistry! ;)

I know! Heh. Great stuff.

I know! This episode managed to be so full of slash moments and team moments! Fabulous. That bit where John cuts Rodney off during the phone call was suspicious - clearly the network made them cut it before Rodney got to tell John he loved him. :)

I am 99% certain the Ancients are replicators who don't know they're replicators. They have that sinister air about them. Plus, as [livejournal.com profile] emony pointed out, only bad guys wear culottes.

Carson and his turtles killed me ded. That man just gets cuter and cuter.

Hopefully the tag fic will get us through till Canada once more saves the day! Rodney would be so proud.

Very true. I just watched it again, and it struck me that she looked like the upholstery of a very expensive car. That can't be good, surely?

It is definitely an excellent episode. This season has been packed with really great stuff! Usually the third season, I have read, is a challenging one, but it sort of feels like SGA has just got into its stride.

You're probably right. The puddlejumpers probably got really annoyed and wouldn't fly right for weeks after they'd been gutted for a new disco outfit. They probably dreaded upcoming parties. I bet that's why they work so well for John and the Lanteans - they never even think of turning the upholstery into fashion's hottest must-own item!

There was plenty to rejoice over if you're a Teyla/Ronon shipper! Although I'm sure they weren't the shippers you were referring to. :)

clearly the network made them cut it before Rodney got to tell John he loved him. :)

So obviously! ;)

I think that's more than likely what's going to happen - although I'm usually atrocious at guessing what's going to happen next in a story so I'm willing to be surprised.... And yes, their dress sense spells certain doom! ;)

I was worried about Carson's turtles too though! Poor turtles!

I anticipate many tag fics from this in the same way the beginning of season 2 being on earth spawned them.

There's always shenanigans whenever there are Ancients or people pretending to be Ancients. It's a Stargate rule.

There was so much John/Rodney I didn't know what to do! Your icon just about sums it up!
