end of an era
I just watched the last episode of SG-1. Ever. (And no thanks to Virgin Media.) I've watched the show for ten years so I'm actually quite sad it's ended now. We've had our disagreements over the years but I've enjoyed the last two seasons - probably because of the introduction of Mitchell and Vala (which I must admit, I was quite resistant to to start with).
Talk about Deus Ex Machina! Now they have all the knowledge of the Asgard they can do anything including defeat the Ori ships. Ah well. I knew as soon as Daniel and Vala got together (and it did work for me) that the big red SG-1 reset switch was coming but for all that, I did love the episode. It had some lovely moments in it and it was another episode this season where Sam actually had a character. I liked that Daniel mentioned Sha're in the last episode, bringing it in some way round to how it all started. Now I just have to wait for the TV film. Feels like Farscape again!

But mostly I thought, wow, I can't believe it's over! And there are rumours that those team moments on the ship may have made me cry, as well as that Daniel/Vala scene because harsh! But I refuse to verify those rumours.

There may also be unfounded and completely ludicrous rumours that I may have had a tear or two also. Shhh.
