I just watched the last episode of SG-1. Ever. (And no thanks to Virgin Media.) I've watched the show for ten years so I'm actually quite sad it's ended now. We've had our disagreements over the years but I've enjoyed the last two seasons - probably because of the introduction of Mitchell and Vala (which I must admit, I was quite resistant to to start with).

I'm mostly over this horrible cold now, thank goodness. I'd better not get another one in the next six months or I won't be happy. I seem to go though phases like this where I get colds continuously and it's very tedious.

People are doing that five favourite fics that they've written meme and it's making me feel all nostalgic for my old-skool days on LJ back in 2003/2004 (I can't believe I've been around LJ for that long!). Awww. I never seem to have the time for fic reading at the moment which is sad because it's something I love. I should try to be around on LJ more. I just never seem to have much to post about nowadays, and the more I don't post, the more I can't seem to when I come to it. Maybe it's performance anxiety!

I had to download this week's SG-1 today (and Lost at the weekend) because of Virgin Media taking Sky One away. How much does that suck? We have no come back really and no way to get Sky One back without changing to Sky. I wish Rupert Murdoch and Richard Branson would have their arguments in private and leave the consumers out of it. It's ridiculous. I guess it's not too much trouble for me as I can still watch the shows, but for most people they can't. But yes, SG-1 - one episode left to go. Ever. It's been on since before I went to university and I'll be sad that it's gone. I fell out with it for a while but I've really enjoyed this season.

I've just finally watched the 200th episode of SG-1. ( cut for very small amouts of spoilers although I'm pretty sure everyone that's bothered has seen it! )

I got back from Hull at about six this evening and I'm very tired! Four hour meetings are not my idea of a good time. I slept like a log last night in the hotel room.

I finally got around to watching the first episode of season 10 of SG-1 tonight. I <3 Vala and her and Daniel together is just brilliant. I didn't realise that the season had started on Sky One a month ago until last week so I thought I'd better catch up!

Today is my three year LJ anniversary! Hurrah! To celebrate, I have done a meme - one that even involves a few small manips of naked men.

Oh - the SG-1 news? I'm not terribly surprised, but I am a teensy bit sad.

Watching the first episode of season 9 of Stargate today really made me want to watch Farscape.

Also - I think Zoe/Wash is my Firefly OTP. Help. I broke my slash.

I was just having my tea when Bill started meowing strangely outside the front door so my mum let him in. He rushed straight into the living room and let a tiny mouse go which promptly ran under the settee. Bill promptly lost interest in it and went into the dining room for a nap. His work for the day is done and now we have a mouse at large somewhere in the front room, possibly in the settee. Fab.

In other news, I've only this second realised that the 24874th season of SG-1 starts tomorrow. I can't even remember what happened at the end of last season! Atlantis starts next week and Nip/Tuck on Sunday. Yay! I can join the ranks of those that watch the TV again! I'm still looking forward to Doctor Who at Christmas. Ooooh, I saw a bloke in the canteen at work who looks just looks like David Tennant but with worse hair.

ETA: I love the local time-stamp thingy that you get in the comments of a post now. I think you have to set your local time from the manage info page for it to work. It's interesting to see what time everyone left comments at.

Is the UK getting SG-1 ahead of the US now? Is that why people were only just talking about the Claudia Black episode? I'm so out of the Stargate loop.
